Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that aims to develop systems capable of performing tasks that require human intelligence, such as learning, reasoning, analysis, and decision-making. It relies on technologies such as machine learning and deep learning to analyze big data and automatically improve performance. AI is radically transforming the labor market, enhancing efficiency and creating new opportunities. However, it requires adaptation from individuals and governments through continuous education and the development of policies that ensure a fair transition to the digital economy. This prompts us to question the future of human jobs, given the accelerating use of technology and AI in various daily jobs. This is the goal of this research, which reviews the current reality of the labor market and its expected prospects with the accelerating development of generative AI systems. We also study the labor market in the United States and other countries with extensive experience in AI. Based on previous studies and using the stages of the descriptive-analytical approach, we have reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: some jobs will disappear, some will see increased demand, and some will remain unaffected by advanced AI. Numerous studies and research indicate the expected economic repercussions of implementing AI technologies across various economic sectors globally, in terms of output levels, demand, labor markets, and increased income. AI has significantly contributed to decision-making and accurate business performance.
