Psychological Hardness and its ability to reduce organizational collapse: An analytical study of the opinions of a sample of managers in the cement factories of the Northern Region

The current study aimed to identify the extent of employing the dimensions, Psychological Hardness of managers, with its dimensions represented by (commitment, control, challenge) in reducing organizational collapse with its dimensions represented by (organizational factors, strategic factors, environmental factors) in a number of cement factories in the northern region. The study problem focused on raising many questions, the most important of which was: Does Psychological Hardness of managers play a role in reducing organizational collapse in the field under study? To achieve the objectives of the current study and answer its questions, the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach in his study in presenting theoretical and conceptual frameworks and processing, analyzing and interpreting data, as it is the approach that suits the study of behavioral and administrative phenomena,. The field of the current study was determined in the Northern Cement Cooperative and a number of cement factories affiliated with it, which numbered five factories located in the cities of Badush and Hammam Al-Alil. The current study community represents all managers working in this cooperative and its factories (formation managers, department heads, division officials) numbering (480), while the sample of the current study amounted to (214) managers, as (250) questionnaires were distributed, of which (225) were returned, but the valid ones for statistical analysis were (17) questionnaires. There were (214) questionnaires, and in order to test the study hypotheses and verify their validity, a number of statistical methods and tools were used in analyzing and processing the data with the aim of reaching the opinions of individuals in the field under study towards the questionnaire paragraphs. These methods and tools include (frequencies, mean, percentages, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, confirmatory factor analysis, and coefficient of variation), using SPSS V24 and AMOS V24 software. Through statistical processing, many results were reached, the most important of which were: the existence of two significant inverse correlation and influence relationships between the Psychological Hardness of managers and organizational collapse in the field under study.
